Advance Capital is pleased to announce the sale of 100% stake in one of Russia’s leading delivery service providers, Boxberry, to Yandex.

Boxberry is one of the leading independent players in the Russian delivery market, delivering orders from online stores and parcels from individuals throughout the country. The company has over 4,600 pickup points in more than 670 cities, including franchise logistics offices, as well as four terminals in Moscow and 78 warehouses in various regions of Russia.

Boxberry has been operating in the Russian market since 2010, and in 2011, it launched its international operations.

This transaction will enable Yandex to strengthen its position in the e-commerce sector by expanding its logistics infrastructure and customer base. Upon completion of the integration process, Boxberry customers will gain access to Yandex’s full range of logistics and e-commerce solutions, along with additional delivery options, including express and intra-city services.

Advance Capital acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Boxberry.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
