Advance Capital is pleased to announce the sale of a 100% stake in Boxberry, one of Russia’s leading delivery service providers, to Yandex.
Boxberry is one of the leading independent players in the Russian delivery market, providing parcel delivery services for e-commerce merchants and private individuals across the country. The company operates a network of more than 4,600 pick-up points in over 670 cities, including franchised logistics offices, as well as four terminals in Moscow and 78 warehouses across various regions of Russia. Boxberry has been operating in the Russian market since 2010, with its international business launched in 2011.
The deal will enable Yandex to strengthen its position in the e-commerce sector by expanding its logistics infrastructure and customer base. Following the integration of services, Boxberry customers will gain access to Yandex’s full range of logistics and e-commerce solutions, as well as additional delivery options, including express and last-mile services.
Advance Capital acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Boxberry.
